Mani Monday

PINTEREST WORTHY NAILS

I've always wanted to have those perfect nails I see on Pinterest. My problem with that are two things. One, my 50 dollars manicure does not even last me a week and second, they are 50 dollars a week. That's 200 dollars a month for just nails and I still own a mani/pedi set and still buy nail polish for those "off" days that I ruined my nails way before salon day.

MY SOLUTION

Gel Nail Polish Stickers

They are available everywhere. Sephora, Ulta, Target and even Walmart. I bought my first box at Walgreens (KISS brand) which has 40 gel strips with Full and French options and my next box the week after ( Sally Hansen ) because of how impressed I was. It was easy and fast. It usually takes me a couple of hours to do my own nails, with this I cut it down to about 45 mins, drying time included.

Why You Should Say Yes To Gel Strips

You're pretty much saving 200 dollars a month on manicures. 200 is a new bag from Kate Spade that will definitely go great with your new polish courtesy of Sally Hansen or KISS. Each box are about 6.00 for the KISS and the Sally Hansen are about the same price. I am torn between the two, KISS has 40 gel strips that are different sizes so that it will have the perfect fit for your nails, Sally Hansen only has 12 gel strips all same sizes but has more of the nail polish look and really cute colors and design.

It's fast and it's easy. If you haven't had time to visit a salon because of hectic schedule, this can be a life saver. With different colors and design, your nails can go from fun at the park to fine dining date night. And did I tell you about the drying time? Since you're only using top coat polish it cuts the time to more than a half.

Perfect polish every week. Since you can do it yourself, you can pretty much change your manicure every week. Another thing I love about them, they don't ruin your nails. Those Gel and Acrylic nails at the salon leaves your nails brittle and thin after awhile. They may look pretty but trust me your nails will thank you when you stop using acrylic.
