Lush is a fresh, handmade cosmetics company based in the United Kingdom. I've chanced upon Lush when we spent one of our weekends in Kansas City. I tried their Herbalism facial wash (3.5 oz for $13.95) and their Coalface (3.5 oz. for $13.95) the Herbalism was a great product but something that took a back seat after I started using Coalface. I've been using Coalface for 3 months now and had to restock since it cleared up my face in just a week. Mind you, I've tried everything that I can get my hands on in Sephora from Peter Thomas Roth to Kate Summerville to even PROACTIV but none of those brands really helped with my acne. I use Coalface with their Lemony Flutter as my moisturizer which is really intended to use for your cuticles (hahahah! I know! But hey, it works) There's something about its thick consistency and oil ratio that tricks my skin to think that its oily enough to not produce more oil. Make sense right?
And last but not the least my go to Acne spot treatment from Philosophy Clear Days Ahead for 18.00. If you have a stubborn acne and need it gone before date night, I suggest to get the Clear Days Ahead right away. It does what it said it would do and more. I've been a fan since I started using this and never looked back. I was originally going to try the Origins Spot Treatment which is 15.00 but the Sephora over at JC Penny's doesn't carry the brand so I had to grab the next closest which is the Philosophy brand. And it was a great thing that they didn't have what I want in the first place.
Another find was the FAB or First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads. I got them as a sample when I bought my face powder/spray from Sephora and tried it just for kicks. The sample had 7 round wipes which even before I run out decided to get the FAB Faves To Go Kit for 28.00 since my boyfriend started noticing that my face looks "bright". It comes with the face cleanser, the pads and the repair cream which might be a good face moisturizer since I'm running out of the Lemony Flutter from Lush.

This pretty much sums up my list of items that I splurge on. I stick to products that works for me since it's really hard for my skin to get results that I would wow about. So far, they have been working for my combination and acne prone skin even during when I have raging hormones before and after my period or I over dose on chocolates hahahaha!
